Scare people for a good cause! Shocktober is a fundraiser for The Arc of Loudoun at Paxton Campus, a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities.
Ghoul School for Volunteers (Acting and Customer Service) for the 2017 Shocktober Season will be held on Sunday, September 17th, 3pm-7pm; and Monday, September 25th, 5pm-9pm

Volunteer OPPORTUNITIES: We recruit for seasonal event positions including Carver Zombies and Scary Monsters to terrorize our guests at Shocktober and My Bloody Valentine.
All volunteers must complete an application, letting us know their interests and their dates of availability, as well as attend one of the Ghoul Schools that are available on September 17 or September 25. **Volunteers need to be 14 years and older. We need volunteers for acting inside Paxton Manor and the Carnival of Souls, as well as volunteers to help outside as customer service representatives (non-acting roles). Please let us know what you are interested in.
- No prior experience is necessary;
- You must be at least 14 years old;
- Must attend Ghoul School to volunteer;
- Must fill out an application and send your completed application to Tammy Goddard.
Shocktober is a major production that logged over 5,000 volunteer hours and raised nearly $350,000 for The Arc of Loudoun at Paxton Campus in 2016.
